Citrine (Tanzania Natural) Rough Detail 1

We struggled over this - natural citrine facet rough clean enough to cut some fine gems - unusally clean for rough rough! But many prefer that the rough be cobbed and cleaned up totally as possible.
Finally I have decided that it is rare indeed to be able to get larger size natural rough as it came from the ground. There will of course be some veils/inclusions/color zoning since it is pure. We have examined it as best can be and can assure you that the descriptions can be relied upon. When you view these images you will have to remember that there are, naturally, a lot of SURFACE flaws - that does NOT indicate internal flaws!

It is also possible for you to be absolutely certain that this is NATURAL ROUGH if I do not clean it up. This is all large, alot is huge. It has not been treated in any way - enjoy!

A huge piece that should cut an eyeclean single doorknob! There is definite color zoning, but with proper orientation the rich orange-gold will flood the entire gem.

The shape is also excellent - 49 x 30 x 28 mm - you will lose some of the length (a narrow tip on the light color end) due to a definite veil that must go, but will end up with a blocky 40x30x28..

Surface flaws will fall away ... best I can tell the interior is water clear, certainly huge areas are flawless.
It could certainly be cut and still give large gems, but i believe it can give a very fine huge gem with excellent color - orientate for color!
