From Brazil, near the Bolivian border ... Mostly fine doorknob "preforms" which can be cut into several smaller pieces if you prefer. Mostly VVS potential at a great price, but some with SI flaws (veiling) which will yet give decent stones with great color at super prices.
There are NO severe cracks in any of this - my pix sometimes make it look like a big crack is there, but they are only edges!

We are fortunate to have a source for this fine Brazilian Amethyst. It is simply wonderful rough in large sizes, generally flawless, with beautiful rich color and minimal zoning. 31x21x17 mm 81 carats, a great buy at $185. The color is very nice, nice rich purples that cut fantastic gems. I can find no flaws in this piece and the shape is excellent for high recovery... hard to get big, clean, fine colored material like this! Am81m05dkp   This is a deal! There are several veils within this huge piece (no cracks) - they are NOT very noticable and if you cut one large stone from this they may not be even visible to the eye - excellent color, but i must price it as SI.
